This is the fishy false teeth story about two old men that went fishing and were mean to each other.

Creative writing

                             Giant eel story

 Finally we were at the holiday house. It took 5 hours but we were there now and we can unpack and get into bed. The next morning we all woke up early and got ready to go for a walk through the forest. I was called the spooky forest. My family was afraid to go in but I wasn't. I was excited. They didn’t want to go but I said I won't stop bugging them until they came but they wouldn’t go so I had to go on my own. I didn’t feel as excited as I did before but I still wanted to. My first step I took I heard birds tweet then I heard a twig snap. I then began to get scared. I remembered someone telling me that a bunch of crazy kids lived in this forest they were called the muggles. After a few more steps he saw a big pile of leaves.

Owairaka athletics day

Kia Ora bloggers. On Tuesday the 3rd of november room 8 competited in owairaka school athletics at lovelock track girls did running events first and the boys did feild events. My first activity was discus I got pretty close to top 3 but the top 3 were to far away second we did long jump I am good at long jump so I came second. Then our third activity was high jump and on my third jump I hurt my shoulder and couldn't keep doing high jump. Our last field activity we competited in was shot put I'm not great at shot put but supriseingly I came 4th.

how do you get to school

Hello fellow bloggers I have been writing about kids having to zoom across a zipline to get to school I have done different perspectives and this one is fantasy. how do you get to school? hope you enjoy. Frightened as I packed my bag for school I walked out the door and followed the path.As I went to the ladder I started climbing to the top of the tower where the zipline was. I was about to go on the zipline to get to school then I realized my bag was unzipped. I really didn’t want to fall into the river of death because there are poisonous scorpions that crawl into your head and heat your brains. Dead bodies were strewn all over the ground.

It was as windy as someone getting blown by a leaf blower. He was so scared he could barely move.

The waterfall

 Hi bloggers on Wednesday the 19th  my brother, sister, dad and I went to walk our dog called Albert. We went to the Oakley Creek waterfall to see how much water there was because it had been raining a lot. When we got down the hill and onto flat ground we went our usual way to the waterfall but because it had been raining so much the stream washed away the path so we had to go the long way. The water was flowing and the current was really strong. My dad took a picture of the waterfall and sent it to me and here it is.

Skate park times

 

Kia ora bloggers This is a skate park called Valonia skate park it is located on valonia St which comes off Richardson Rd. I have been learning lots of new tricks on my scooter and can jump really high.

Kia ora bloggers Today we did Blake VR. We learned about peter Blake and how he won the Americas cup and how he pirates boarded his ship and they shot him. We also learned about what the pollution of the Hauraki gulf and What it looks like near Auckland and far away from Auckland. 

We have also been learning about the food chain. Cray fish eat the kina and the kina eat the seaweed and if we fish up all the fish all the kina will eat the seaweed. What do you think we could do to help keep our Hauraki gulf clean?  Did you know that we let 2.5 million tonnes of litter into the water every year.

Hold On For Dear Life!

Hold On For Dear Life  

It all happened so quickly! One minute he was standing on the platform, the next he was hurtling through the air, hanging on to a train for dear life. He looked up to his astonishment.  “OH NO” he shouted! 

There was a tunnel up ahead. He was about to jump back onto the platform but then he realised the window was open. He opened it as fast as he could and jumped in. He fell on top of a man who got really mad at the little boy. He started lifting the boy up and swinging him around. Then the conductor came and told him to get off at the next station. The man said ”no I need to get to work or I'll be in big trouble!” 

“I don’t care if you get in trouble with your boss because you're already in trouble with me now get off my train!”

The boy was still getting held by the man. Then the man stuck his head out the window and shut the window so he wouldn't be properly stuck then he said “Well I better head off. Bye everyone. I hope you have a bad day.” The boy could tell that the man was some sort of criminal or something. Then the train stopped and the conductor came by and helped the boy get out of the situation. 

The conductor then asked the boy “Where are you off to little boy?” 

“I am going to Oxford Circus sir.”

“Well, I’ll ask the train driver to go to your destination.”

About ten minutes later the conductor came back and said we're on our way back to Oxford Circus. The boy said “thank you, sir, I really appreciate it.”

“You're quite a welcome young boy,” said the conductor.

The history of Kupe

Kupe: 
The history of Kupe tells us that Kupe was a great warrior and leader. He was a brave and clever explorer. Kupe  sailed all around the pacific ocean to new Zealand and   around new Zealand. We think of him as a great leader because when he was sailing he fought the giant octopus so his tribe could fish for food so they wouldn’t starve. I think that Kupe wasn’t a good person because he murdered his cousin to marry his wife. He lived and grew up in a mythical land called Hawaikiki.

Howick historical village

Hi everybody, today rooms 6, 7 and 8 went to  Howick historical village, it was great. The  first activity we did was communication using Morse code, braille and semaphore. Next we went to school I thought it was the best because everyone tries to be naughty so they can get hit by the cane. We learnt that the 12 year old's had to teach the 5 year old's what the teacher taught them. Last we went on a tour we got to see all the old houses and what they played with. I hope you had a great time there. Are you going to go there again?
